What Sentinel is
Sentinel is an open-source defense intelligence platform that aggregates publicly available data — government procurement records, flight transponder data, trade statistics, news feeds, and prediction markets — and processes it with AI agents to produce analytical briefings, alerts, and forecasts. All source code is publicly available. All underlying data comes from public sources.
No warranty — provided “AS IS”
Sentinel is provided “AS IS” without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We make no guarantees about the accuracy, timeliness, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose of any information on this platform.
Data pipelines can fail. AI models can hallucinate. Public sources can be wrong or incomplete. Classified activity is invisible to Sentinel by design. You acknowledge these limitations when using the service.
Not investment advice
Important — Read Before Acting
Nothing on Sentinel constitutes investment advice, financial advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell any security. Defense contractor stock movements, procurement signals, and market indicators are presented for informational and research purposes only.
Users assume all risk of acting on signals from this platform. Consult a qualified financial advisor before making any investment decisions.
Not an intelligence service
Sentinel is not affiliated with any government, military branch, or intelligence agency. It is not a substitute for classified intelligence, official threat assessments, or government advisories. Classification markings used in the interface (e.g., “UNCLASSIFIED // FOR OFFICIAL USE ONLY”) are simulated for formatting purposes — they do not indicate actual classification or official sanction.
AI-generated content
All briefings, signal cards, forecasts, and intelligence assessments on Sentinel are generated by AI (Claude, developed by Anthropic) and are not human-validated. They reflect patterns in public data as interpreted by a language model — not the judgment of a trained intelligence analyst.
AI-generated content may contain errors, omissions, outdated information, or hallucinated details. Do not treat any Sentinel output as ground truth. Treat it as an analytical starting point that requires independent verification.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Scrape Sentinel at high request rates in ways that degrade service for other users. The underlying data is open-source — use the GitHub repo and build your own pipeline instead.
- Resell Sentinel’s AI-generated outputs as your own intelligence product without clearly attributing Sentinel as the source.
- Use Sentinel to facilitate illegal activity, harassment, or any purpose that violates applicable law.
Reasonable API usage, research, journalism, and educational use are welcome. When publishing analysis that relies heavily on Sentinel data or briefings, attribution is appreciated.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top reflects the last revision. Continued use of Sentinel after changes constitutes acceptance. For material changes, we will notify waitlist subscribers by email.
